Secretariat General of the House of Representatives appeared to have a budget of Rp 10.6 billion for information technology operations, network maintenance, and development of information systems at the Council building in 2011 and the budget of Rp 10.9 billion in 2010. This figure is even bigger than Indonesia's record Budget Centre (IBC), which indicates that there is a web site maintenance budget and maintenance of the Parliament's official site by Rp 9.75 billion in heading the House budget chief in 2010.
"In 2010, the budget of Rp 10.9 billion and 55.6 percent absorption," said Deputy Secretary General of the House of Representatives Budget Oversight Winantuning Tyastiti told reporters at the Secretariat General of the Parliament Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/05/2011).
The budget, he added, is used to finance a wide range of IT operations Parliament, especially the three activities which include internet services and information providers, www.dpr.go.id site maintenance, and development of information systems. Winantuning said there were more than 30 types of activities that are managed by the IT Parliament, both intranet and internet.
Five large group activities such as construction or development of IT and intranet development, including system and application information systems applications. House provides 32 types of services in www.dpr.go.id sites, such as the agenda schedule, meeting reports, visit fit and proper test, the history of the House, the discipline, as well as data and per member per faction fittings council. There is also a blog-led House members and House of Representatives, streaming television, e-mail online, and facilities of public complaints. Meanwhile, intranet facilities include online assessments, online library, clipping the Parliament, the financial reporting system, admin experts, member secretary and administrator.
"All we are facilitating," he admitted.
